Background

Over the last few years we’ve worked closely with Bensons for Beds to help them become a customer centric business. Moving away from a traditional retailer that just sells beds to a specialist that really understands customers want to buy comfort.

What we found

Working together with customers and staff they told us that hardly anyone looked forward to buying a bed. But when people experienced the unique Comfort Station and how it put them in control of buying a new bed, the decision process was much easier.

What we did

Building on the success of the previous years TV campaign we created an ad with real cut through. A sale ad that talks to the audience, rather than shouts at them.

We created a series of six commercials that used real life characters to explain how easy buying a new bed from Bensons is. In their own words, they brought the in store experience to life and demonstrated how important simple things like numbers are in helping us pick what’s right for us.

The results

The client is delighted with the campaign and once again the ads are continuing to help deliver double-digit growth in like-for-like sales.
