What we found
International food giant, Angel Camacho wanted to grow sales in the UK and increase supermarket listings for its leading Spanish olive and Mediterranean food brand, Fragata.
Research told us that as people travel more their tastes are broadening too so we wanted to capitalise on this.
What we did
Through a national consumer PR campaign ‘Savour the flavour of Spain’ we positioned Fragata as a brand that delivered an authentic Spanish and Mediterranean cuisine experience.
We launched a new website, together with an extensive social media campaign, introducing UK consumers to quick and easy Spanish cooking for the first time.
We recruited top Spanish chef, José Pizarro as Fragata’s brand ambassador. His recipe videos for Fragata’s YouTube channel and contributions to the well-read Fragata blog helped build an online following.
We also created a range of recipe cards and engaged with top foodie bloggers to encourage lots of product reviews.
Extensive online and offline coverage secured in all the top food titles using recipe cards and tactical campaigns.
National press coverage with competitions.
Extensive foodie bloggers outreach – over 150,000 monthly unique visitors.
Now stocked at Tesco, Waitrose and Ocado.
